Have Books - Will Travel
Greetings from the Farewells …
Great News! We are excited to continue our Have Books Will Travel Conferences this year. The last two summers we presented our workshops and living history dramatizations to groups of home educators, churches, and history enthusiasts all over America while traveling from convention to convention.
We’d be honored to visit your group this summer!
Our goal is to provide you with an excellent choice of workshops and bring a fine selection of Living Books to groups large and small. See below for workshop titles.
A Little History
During the summer of 2003 a homeschool dad knew we’d be traveling near his town on the way to a convention, so he emailed Bob, inviting us for lunch, to set up a few books, and to perform Gettysburg, The Second Day: A Living History Dramatization for his support group.
The dad then invited surrounding support groups. About sixty children and their parents attended. What a blast! There's nothing like making new friends while eating a wonderful meal together, sharing our hearts, and talking about great books!
We'd Love to Visit You!
As a result, our family has great fun doing these presentations all over the country. If you and your church or support group would enjoy hearing workshops that we usually present at conventions or if you would like to learn more about the War Between the States through a first person Living History presentation, please email us and we'll try to schedule it.
To know where we plan to travel, please visit our Conference Schedule web page and take note if you think your city would be on the way to our next convention.
Then contact us at BobandTina@aol.com if you would like to host us. Please
